Attribute Points - Question About Using Them
I'm new to the game and noticed when I level up, I get some points to add to either Strength, Hammer Skills, etc... When I put my mouse over Fire for example, before the explination of the skill, it says something like "not inherit" or something along those lines...
What exactly does that mean? Any advice would be very helpful, thank you. |

Attribute Points - Question Not Answered.
I asked this:
I'm new to the game and noticed when I level up, I get some points to add to either Strength, Hammer Skills, etc... When I put my mouse over Fire for example, before the explination of the skill, it says something like "not inherit" or something along those lines... What exactly does that mean? Any advice would be very helpful, thank you. My only reply to this was this link... http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content...tes-id1225.php And no where did I see the answer to my question and for some reason the thread was locked out. When it says "not inherit" does it have any negatives if I were to place points in them. |

This is one of those casees where if you were to read some of the basic information around, in our FAQs, in our guide, in the manual, in the online manual at www.guildwars.com, or even the started up a PvP character and look through the attribute descriptions themselves you would know the answer to your own question. Namely, that attributes with an inherent bonus - like Energy Storage, like Marksmanship - give you something just for having poitns in them. An attribute without an inherent bonus is one that only improves your skills. With just a little more time and effort on your part you wouldn't need to make threads like this. These boards are here to help you with unanswered questions, not to help you replace your own ability to think.
